Is the sea eagle stable – I have a few physical problems and I need a kayak that is very stable to get in and out of – also on that is stable in water – not to easy to tip over by small movements or waves. I love to kayak but now find it hard to lift it on or off a car to get it to the water. thank you for a reply and keep on going.
Hi Michelle,
The Sea Eagle 330 is inherently more stable than a hard-hull equivalent, however we always recommend exercising caution in the water, especially if you are limited physically in any way. The kayak is definitely designed to withstand small movements and waves — in fact, many experienced paddlers have taken their sport kayaks down Class III whitewater. As far as transport is concerned, that is one of the chief benefits of a Sea Eagle sport kayak: The craft weighs just 26 lbs. and comes with a carry bag that it fits easily into.
