Jay’s Engineering Experiment “With the current against us (we did not attach the skegs) the FoldCat was real sensitive to the current direction. We are planning our next outing at another river location. This time we are mounting the hand held trolling motor on the front with a bracket I duplicated from the one purchased from the factory and we will have a 4hp Mercury 4-stroke mounted on the rear. Mounting the trolling motor on the front should help going against the current and the 4-stroke outboard motor on the rear should get us home just fine.” Note: Sea Eagle does not suggest, endorse, or take responsibility for owner-modifications to our boats. However, Sea Eagle owners are a creative bunch and we can’t help but admire your inventiveness!
